Just leave it in my ask box and I’ll reply to each one! I’d really love to know :D
So the first image is from this post the other week.
I did end up replying to the Grey sister because it honestly was pissing me off to no end. I have issues with this sister, which you can read about in the first post. I think what I ended up saying was short and simple, and while I highly doubt Grey actually thinks I’m right or even really thinks my point is valid.
Oh, and Red is the Yellow sister’s friend.
I’m really happy with how Yellow handled Grey and Red. She is just very educated and well spoken. But both Grey and Red don’t seem to get it. Especially with Grey’s last comment, it seemed more like they were just saying the things about ‘good points’ to not look bad.
And then the third image is from a private message with Yellow. She actually made some good points. and it makes me feel really good that she sees what I’m doing and is supportive and not judgmental. I definitely get a judgmental feel from Grey a lot of the time.

This is probably my—- third? least favorite day of the year.
After the day my dad died.
And after the day my grandfather died.
A message from Prince Harry at the CHIME for Change concert. (x)
REASONS WHY I LOVE HIM TO DEATH.
Ok but this guy is a saint.
We hear about all the partying and stuff but in 2008, one of the soldiers in his battalion was being threatened by 6 other soldiers from another outfit for being openly gay. The soldier escaped and went back to duty when Harry saw him and demanded to know what happened and then was like “Right well I’m going to sort this out” and full on stomped over to the guys and threw a fit at them and solved the problem and those guys never bothered the soldier again and he did it all without violence.
FOUR FOR YOU P. HARRY YOU GO P. HARRY.

Stop Stigma Sacramento
The Mental Illness: It’s not always what you think project was initiated by Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services’ Division of Behavioral Health Services to:
-Reduce stigma and discrimination
-Promote mental health and wellness
-Inspire hope for people and families living with mental illnessStop Stigma Sacramento is one of the many projects here working to support those with mental illnesses. These are all over the county—on billboards, community boards, and gas pumps.
For mental health resources in the county, visit the NAMI Sacramento website
I’m so in love with this.
this is amazing
but now what I’d like to see them do is make one of those ads a teenager with post traumatic stress disorder. because there is a stigma around the fact you can only have ptsd if youre from the war; both examples here seem to insinuate that from race and age. I would like to see a teenage girl or boy in one of those ads too
or dissociative identity disorder
amazing movement but I’d love more inclusivity of all mental illnesses - esp the ones with the biggest stigmas. I like they included schizophrenia in there tho
When it comes to what disorders are actually shown, it all depends on who is willing to be this public with their diagnosis. (These billboards are over some of the largest streets in the county. Some mental health clinics have a table full of brochures and cards.)
I’m not sure when this project began, but I noticed them just after I moved here last January. I just saw a couple with depression then. Soon there were more with depression, and a few with bipolar. Soon schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, and OCD.
It seems like they started small, just getting the basics out, but are now growing. And hopefully, because this has been so well received, more people (esp those with more stigmatised disorders) feel safe enough to be part of it.

On Monday when I went to the gym with my sister, I was able to run for a full 8 minutes at 4.4 miles per hour. I’ve never been able to run for more than 5 minutes at a time so all I can say is woah.
Then today, I went on a run with my sister. We run along a local running/biking path that is right by our house. The first stretch from the entrance we use to the next street crossing/intersection is about .27 miles (according to google). For the first time ever, I was able to run that entire stretch without stopping.
It’s a real difference exercising with someone else. I just see her running and keeping her pace, and I just want to beat her. Lol that’s sibling rivalry for you, but at least it’s working for my advantage!
Recent studies confirm that reading books and drinking tea doesn’t make you better than anyone else
reading books has been proven to raise your intelligence and drinking tea is believed by many researchers to help metabolism and brain functions, so acctually it does a tiny bit
